A number of reports indicate that this condition can be triggered by both an ingredient in a cosmetic product and environmental factors (cold, heat, sun, pollution, moisture).
Sensitive Skin Syndrome (SSS) and is described as hypersensitivity, hyperreactivity, sensitivity, intolerance or irritation of the skin. The sensations described by patients vary greatly (itching, burning, tingling, roughness or dryness of the skin) and can occur minutes to hours after contact with the given irritant or even after several episodes of using a particular product, triggering the condition through cumulative effect (accumulation of several factors).
